MISSION STATEMENT

To provide community based opportunities to individuals to acquire skills that will assist them achieve long term economic self sufficiency and contribute to the development of First Nations and their communities.

MANDATE

To ensure the provision of quality education for elementary and secondary students in Norway House Schools.

To provide post secondary educational opportunities for graduates of the secondary school.

To develop the human capital of Norway House to meet the labour market of the community development plan.

To provide post secondary student support services for community based and out of town students.

GOALS

To increase the participation and graduation rates of Aboriginal students in post secondary and adult education programs.

To enhance the post secondary student support services by developing relationships with the students which encourages and fosters healthy, practical and safe problem solving skills.

To develop and promote a post secondary educational environmental plan that develops the student mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This would include the highlighting student successes, role models, and graduates.

To enhance outreach services by offering career and self marketing skills coaching to clients.
